It feels like it's been about 3 years since I had LASIK, and even now I still don't really feel any side effects from it. Right after the surgery, my dry eyes were so bad that my eyes felt rough every day and I couldn't last even two hours without artificial tears, but now I've recovered fully and there are no side effects at all. The only thing I regret is not choosing SMILE LASIK... Since I just had regular LASIK, I still worry about injuring my eyes when I exercise, which is inconvenient.
