Already Taking Great Photos at 3 Months: An Honest Review of Double Jaw Surgery for Facial Asymmetry

This is my review at 3 months after double jaw surgery with Dr. Kim Jong-yun at Iyu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Clinic haha I had always felt some stress because of facial asymmetry and the hollowing beside my nose, and at first I tried to solve it with orthodontics, but after being told it was a double jaw case I worried a lot T_T Still, after seeing reviews of Iyu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, I trusted it because there were many cases with improved asymmetry, and during the consultation they immediately understood the natural look I wanted, so I decided on this place. The fact that orthodontics and surgery were handled together was also very reassuring 🥹 I went to the consultation with my mother, and both Dr. Kim and the orthodontics doctor explained in an easy-to-understand way why my case was suitable for double jaw surgery, which made me trust them even more. Now that it has been 3 months, it really feels like my face has settled in naturally as if it were always mine haha At first I thought the swelling was almost gone, but as time passed, even the residual swelling kept going down, and I can see the jawline and cheekbone line becoming softer and more refined. These days even when I take photos with the default camera, my face shape comes out nicely, so I have gotten into the fun of taking pictures,, I am also very satisfied with the functional side, and the delayed sensation in my upper gums has now fully returned, so I have no discomfort at all when brushing my teeth or eating, and even when smiling or making expressions it feels completely natural! Lately I have been practicing how to smile with my cheekbones I was most worried about pronunciation because I work as an instructor, but the slight awkwardness is from the orthodontics rather than the surgery, so it does not affect my work at all, and if anything my bite is coming together so speaking feels more stable haha There is still orthodontic treatment left, so I am excited because I know it will get even better, and both my facial shape and function have clearly improved before and after the surgery, so I am really satisfied these days haha There must have been a reason why Iyu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is so well known. If you are getting facial bone surgery, I would definitely recommend it!
