Ever since I was little, I was unable to break the habit of biting my nails, so it stressed me out that my front teeth were strangely protruding. So I decided to get orthodontic treatment and went ahead with it right away. The doctor is famous for generally not recommending extractions, but maybe my teeth were protruding that much, because I had two teeth extracted on the upper and lower jaws respectively. The result was successful. However, since I have not been wearing the retainer consistently, it seems like the teeth are protruding again.
