Before surgery, my biggest worries were prognathism and malocclusion. Even from the front my jaw looked like it stuck out, but especially when I took side-view photos, it stood out even more, so it was very stressful. My bite was also not good, so I wanted to improve the functional part too. After consulting several places, I got surgery at Max because the surgical direction and explanation made the most sense to me. After about 1 month, the big swelling went down, so my jawline started to show to some extent, and when seen from the front or at a 45-degree angle, my face became much more natural. In particular, I used to feel burdened by taking side-view photos, but after surgery, photos definitely came out better, and that was the part I was most satisfied with. That said, there was still swelling at the time, so a full side profile looked a little awkward, and I did think it still needed to go down more. At 3 months, I was glad the jawline was much more defined than before, but the cheeks and philtrum still looked a little swollen. Still, the overall face shape was clearly settling in more naturally. Now it's been about 4 months, and people around me have been saying I look pretty handsome, so I'm very satisfied. Above all, it doesn't look overdone, and the fact that it improved naturally like my original face is what I like the most. I had been worrying about prognathism and malocclusion for a long time, but so far I feel like I made the right choice by getting surgery at Max.
