Before I had double jaw surgery, I searched for reviews a lot on blogs, Q&A sites, and cafes like Yeowooya!! After searching and comparing many hospitals, I decided that Lee Gugang Maxillofacial Surgery was the one I could trust most, so I had surgery with Director Kim Jong-yoon! For reference, the reason I had double jaw surgery was that I already had severe malocclusion. I often felt pain in my molars while living with it, and because my jaw kept growing, I had functional discomfort as well as a pretty big appearance-related stress, which is why I decided on double jaw surgery!! Now it has been 7 months since the surgery, and I have finally finished everything, including the orthodontic treatment that was the last part of my double jaw journey haha. After removing the braces too, my mouth area definitely looks more natural, and my face as a whole feels much more balanced!! More than anything, as my malocclusion improved, eating became much more comfortable and my satisfaction with daily life improved a lot as well! Now I can smile broadly in front of the mirror and it does not feel awkward at all, and people around me keep saying that I have become so naturally handsome, with none of the usual awkwardness that double jaw surgery can have, so I feel good every time I hear that haha .. Before the surgery I was really worried, but as time passed the swelling went down naturally and I could directly feel my face settling into place, so I even thought I had worried for too long for nothing! Right now my malocclusion has improved and my face shape and mouth area have changed naturally, so overall my satisfaction is personally very high. If you are considering double jaw surgery or double jaw + facial contouring surgery, I think it would be good to get enough consultations and decide in a direction that suits you!!! haha Then I will come back again to leave my next review!!
