One Month After Implant Removal/Reconstruction for Contracted Nose

Hello everyone, I had implant removal + reconstructive surgery at VN. A few years ago, I got nose surgery simply because I wanted to correct my bulbous nose, without really knowing much about the risks of rhinoplasty or the surgical methods. At the time, my nose looked like the ugliest thing in the world to me.. At the first clinic I consulted, the manager said it was the kind of nose that would look really pretty if only the bridge were done, and I got tempted by those words and went ahead with surgery. Following the director's recommendation, I had silicone inserted into the bridge, used autologous costal cartilage, and also had alar reduction. Even though it was my first surgery, I used a lot of different things, and at the time I did it with just the expectation that my nose would become pretty like everyone else's. Looking back now, it seems like only the manager actively pushed it on me, and the director consultation was not really much of anything.. The person doing the surgery was the director, but looking at my nose and having the consultation end in less than 5 minutes without saying much tells you enough, haha. But back then I knew nothing and went into surgery with nothing but expectations. However, the starting point of the bridge was so high that from the very beginning the nose looked like an avatar's, and even though I had alar reduction too, my bulbous nose felt as if it had not been corrected at all... I complained to the hospital several times, but all they said was that it would change once the swelling went down and that my nose had always had limits.... The manager quit in the middle, so I could not even get in touch with her, haha. In the end, I got so sick of the communication problems with the hospital that I had to live on while giving up on my nose. But even if I wanted to forget it and live on, the nose that had been the problem from the start would not stay quiet. As time went by, signs of contracture gradually appeared, and my nasal tip kept lifting. Sometimes when I drank a lot, I also felt a tight, pulling sensation... After hearing people around me say my nose seemed to have changed in a strange way, my mental stress got even worse, so I ended up looking into revision surgery. What I liked most the first time I went to VN was that not only the manager but also the director's consultation was very detailed... They showed me everything with virtual surgery, explaining what it would look like with and without septal extension, and with and without alar reduction being done again. Director Seungil Oh said that the Gore-Tex in the bridge would be removed, and that what looked like a crooked nose was actually because the nasal bone was irregular, which made it look that way. He said that could be corrected, and that they would use cartilage particles and autologous dermis to even everything out so there would be no step-offs overall. I was actually the one who first said I wanted alar reduction again. I had always been dissatisfied with it because it seemed like it had not been done properly in my first surgery. After the reconstructive surgery, the swelling was more than I expected, so I went back to the hospital and got swelling injections and swelling laser treatment too. This place was a bit inconvenient because after surgery I had to keep going back for things like removing packing and removing stitches, but still, every time I went they did not just treat me and send me off; the director checked everything, which I liked. The waiting time was a bit long... and the checkups took a long time, so I figured it could not be helped. I also took a lot of half-days off around that period. For reference, my inflammation markers were not high, so removal and reconstruction could be done at the same time. That will differ from person to person, so please get a consultation and decide! Compared with my old nose, I think my current nose is really much better, and I plan to stop being greedy and just live accepting it as it is. I spent a lot of money on revision surgery.. I do not think I will ever recklessly get plastic surgery again! I left this review hoping it would really help everyone here.
