Even though I had already had nose surgery once, the tip was blunt, and as time passed it started to look more and more distorted, like it was being pressed down, so I looked into revision surgery.. The bridge was high, but the tip had dropped, so I had both the bridge and tip revised. In my case, I needed cartilage, and I thought using my own costal cartilage would be safer than donor cartilage, so I used autologous costal cartilage. The line from the bridge to the tip came out well-balanced and smooth, so I’m very satisfied haha I didn’t want a Pinocchio-like nose that sticks up sharply, and even with autologous costal cartilage I wanted a natural feel, but the line is clearly defined without being excessive and still natural, so even after a year it’s holding up really well. From the first consultation through the surgery and follow-up visits, DL took such good care of me that I think I recovered well without feeling anxious haha If you want a luxurious, well-cared-for feeling, this seems like a good fit!

Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 2 Day 6 with nasal packing and I’m losing it
Maybe because they corrected the deviated septum too, but they said to remove the packing inside my nose after a week. I’ve lost my sense of taste, my ears feel muffled and blocked, when I wake up my mouth is a desert, my airway is swollen
Nose Re-Surgery@rhino-redoMay 2 Is the first week usually more swollen?
I had septoplasty + hump reduction (functional nose surgery) at an ENT clinic, and since I was getting cosmetic nose surgery at the same time, they also did silicone on the bridge over the leftover septal cartilage + the hump-reduction…
