9-month two-jaw surgery review with a more natural face ^^

It has already been 9 months since I had two-jaw surgery with Dr. Kim Jong-yoon at Ieugu Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. When I first decided on the surgery, I was very stressed by the appearance of my protruding lower jaw, and chewing food was also uncomfortable because of my bite problems, so I worried a lot, but looking back now, I really feel it was the right choice. Right after surgery, I also had a difficult time with swelling and nasal congestion, but as time passed, the swelling from the two-jaw surgery went down quickly, and now that it is 9 months later, my facial line looks much more natural and my overall impression is cleaner, so my satisfaction is very high. ^^ Fortunately, I have not felt any of the side effects I was most worried about from the two-jaw surgery. I have no sensory changes or pain, and I can go about daily life comfortably. At this point, it is stable enough that I only need to keep up with orthodontic treatment. My functional recovery has also improved to the point where I can bite through chewy foods with my front teeth, so these days there are many times when I even forget that I had surgery. Above all, Dr. Kim Jong-yoon explained everything carefully from before the surgery through the recovery process and took good care of me, which gave me a lot of trust. During the post-orthodontic process, I can feel the recovery wrapping up as the screws are removed one by one, and the weight I lost right after surgery has come back, so my health has improved too. ^^ Looking back at the 9-month mark, I think the process of deciding to have the surgery was harder than the surgery itself. I am currently only wearing braces, and I am looking forward to the day when I can remove them and fully return to everyday life. For anyone considering two-jaw surgery, I would definitely recommend experiencing the changed quality of life after recovery.
