Hello, this is my review of jaw surgery at Iyoo Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery / Dr. Kim! Since middle school I had such a severe underbite and malocclusion that I was nicknamed 'chin,' which caused me a lot of stress. It was not just a matter of appearance; because my bite did not align, chewing and speaking were uncomfortable, and especially whenever I saw photos taken from the side, my confidence kept dropping. In the end, I decided that correcting my long face and improving my underbite could only be solved with surgery, so I chose jaw surgery..!! Before surgery, while looking into many hospitals, the place that came up most often in reviews and cases was Iyoo Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. When I actually searched, it kept appearing in searches for jaw surgery reviews, hospitals good at jaw surgery, underbite surgery reviews, and more!!! Seeing so many cases and the professional explanations gave me the confidence that this was a place I could really trust, so I chose it! Now, 4 months after surgery, the improvement is obvious even to my own eyes as time passes! My face shape has become much softer, the swelling has almost completely gone down, and everyone around me says my face looks much more natural and harmonious haha..!! In daily life there are almost no inconveniences, and lately I can also feel my mouth shape and pronunciation becoming more natural little by little! Before surgery I was very scared, but now that I have done it, all I can think is that I am really glad I went through with it!! For those who are worried about underbite surgery and a natural side profile, I hope my experience helps even a little, and I recommend Iyoo Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery!!
