Review one month after early removal, done 3 days after surgery

Hello. I am writing this for anyone who may be considering early removal, or worrying after having it done. I had been thinking about nose surgery for a long time, and recently I underwent open rhinoplasty using ear cartilage and silicone (4 mm used). First of all, my nose shape was a fleshy nose (not severe, and the doctor said it was not a fleshy nose so there was no extra manipulation x), a slightly upturned nose, a short and small nose, and a low nose bridge. Because the overall shape was pretty, the harmony gave it a cute look. (A bit like [Person A] [Person B]) But the whole nose was so low that my side profile was stressful, which is why I went ahead with the surgery. About 7 years ago, when I had filler injected into the bridge and tip of my nose, I developed a delayed immune reaction, so ideally I wanted surgery without silicone. But after hearing things like there is no relation between immune reactions and allergies, and that silicone is the easiest material to remove if a problem happens, I just went ahead and used silicone for the surgery. When I had the immune reaction, it had already been 2 years since the filler injection, so I thought it would dissolve on its own and did not get any shots separately (it did not come often and it was not severe). When I had the surgery this time, the hospital also said there was no need to dissolve the filler and that after 7 years it would all have dissolved anyway, so I had the operation without any filler-dissolving injection. 1. Why I had early removal after 4 days I removed it because it was nothing like the shape I had in mind, 50% -> the tip was too low and the bridge was too high. The nose should have looked like /, but it truly looked like |. Fear of silicone 40% -> since I had had a delayed immune reaction, I was scared after getting it placed. Discomfort 10% -> that is why I removed it. Since I had chronic migraines, when I had pain I had to take migraine medicine (a vasoconstrictor), and that also made me more afraid because the doctor said taking that medicine was not good for the nose. I had the surgery at a hospital in the provinces, so it was relatively cheap, and I paid both when it was inserted and when it was removed. For both my first surgery and the removal, I did not have any packing inserted. (Probably because there was no septal manipulation... that seems to be why it was possible.) After the surgery, my nostrils became uneven. Even after removal they were uneven, but now, as I am entering the one-month mark, they have returned to symmetry. Including the day of removal, it was removed on day 4; excluding that day, it was removed after 3 days. They did not mention whether there was a support, and they removed everything, including the ear cartilage and silicone. Early removal day 1 to month 1 progress Day 1 The incision at the columella was so neat that it made me wonder if they had really reopened it, and there was not a single scab. The foreign-body sensation still remained at about 20%. Day 2 The foreign-body sensation was about 10%. From this point on, it already felt like my own nose. That feeling of being forcibly pulled tight, and the throbbing sensation at the tip, all disappeared. My nostrils also loosened up a lot, so I could yawn and all that. Day 3 The foreign-body sensation disappeared completely, so washing my hair became possible. Day 4 The splint was removed that day. After it came off, it felt a little like, is this really my nose? Maybe because of the pain when removing it, the feeling was a bit strange. It hurt a lot if I bumped it, like when bruised, and I did not feel any blood rushing down when bending over. Day 5-6 Other than soreness when exerting myself or moving a lot, there was nothing else. (Including moving around and talking...) Day 7 The stitches in my nose and ear were removed that day, and it did not hurt at all. I think they originally said the ear stitches would be removed at the 2-week mark, but they removed them earlier here. Day 8 From this point on, about half of the soreness disappeared. I accidentally hit my nose like a pig nose while washing my face, and it hurt like crazy. I was able to clean my nose. Day 9 I was able to blow my nose. I did not do the kind of nose blowing where I would feel like I was squeezing out my soul, because that was scary, but it was possible at the level of what you do when you have a cold. Day 10 If I overdo it, only the very tip feels slightly sore. Day 11 Except for the tip, even pressing lightly does not hurt, and the tip is hard. The bridge did not hurt even when pressed. Day 12-13 The soreness disappears completely. Running and lifting things are fine. The tip does not hurt even when pressed, and I felt a slight contraction in the nose. I used a nose pack at this time. Day 14 No special issues. Day 15 Suddenly my nose felt extremely hard. After that, it passed until one month without major issues, and now, about one month and one week later, it is still hard. Rather, it was soft during the first 1-2 weeks and then suddenly became hard as if the contraction phase arrived. But after being hard through weeks 3-4, it suddenly becomes very soft again. The tip keeps going back and forth. However, the columella area feels so hard that when I pull my lip downward, it feels like a plaster statue. It is possible to press the tip sideways or press the bridge. It barely hurts. Pig nose is not possible. If I am being honest, from week 3 onward I removed the dissolvable stitches inside my nose myself. (A very small part was removed at the hospital when they removed the columella stitches, because I kept poking inside my nose...) I did it because I thought it would be better than scratching it raw from the itching... I had removed stitches in another surgery before, so I did it. I do not recommend other people copy this. For what I am most curious about... the shape. It is really the part that was the weirdest, but when I signed the early-removal consent form at the hospital, they said the shape might become a little prettier. At the time I thought, hmm? But in reality, after removing it, it became prettier than my natural nose. I think there was not much manipulation, judging from the fact that the tip had been low. (The doctor was older, so it seems they operated in an old-school way.) Because of swelling, the bridge became higher, and maybe because they scraped out the spread filler, the nose looks slimmer and overall more organized. After the surgery, the sutured columella area sank slightly inward, so from the front the columella is not visible at all, which improved the lightly upturned nose I had before, and the area with the columella scar is not visible. However, scar tissue developed on the inside of the nasal mucosa where it had been opened and sutured. It feels a little bumpy when touched. As I am now in the contraction phase, there is no upturn at all. Washing my face and similar things is still not something I can do forcefully. If I accidentally bump it, it hurts a lot. My ear hurt in the back area until the one-month mark, but it is fine now. Still, both my ear and nose sometimes hurt with a sharp twinge. Even so, I am satisfied.. I tried the nose surgery that had been my lifelong wish, so I have no regrets... If you are someone who wants only a very slight change, I want to strongly discourage you from getting nose surgery. I am sharing this because I think there may be people who, like me, worried about early removal and people who may be curious about what happened afterward.
