Because of my malocclusion and concerns about my facial shape, I decided to undergo double jaw surgery and three types of contouring. At my first consultation, I had many worries about the surgery, but after hearing a clear explanation and realistic guidance, I made my decision carefully.After the surgery, the swelling and pressure were more difficult than I expected, and especially in the early stage, breathing felt uncomfortable. I also lost sensation in my gums, so I worried a lot, but as time passed, the sensation in my palate and lower gums has gradually returned, and at the moment only some sensation in my upper gums remains.One month later, the major swelling has mostly gone down, and as my facial line has become more defined, my face feels much softer and more balanced than before. I am not yet in the fully recovered stage, but I expect it will look even more natural as time passes.For anyone considering surgery, I really want to say that enough consultation and understanding the recovery period are truly important. I was also very worried at the beginning, but now I am satisfied that I chose to have the surgery.
