Eye Surgery Reviews

[Dr. Ichan, Leos Plastic Surgery] 1-month review of male incisional ptosis correction.

It's been about a month since the surgery. When I wrote my 2-week review, I felt that the swelling was going down faster than expected and recovery was going smoothly, but now, after a month, it feels much more naturally settled than it did then. In the early stage, the eyes were held in a slightly more defined shape, so there were moments when it felt a bit awkward, but as time passed, it gradually softened and blended naturally with my face. At this point, unless I mention it, there are even people who don't realize I had surgery. What I feel has changed the most is definitely the strength to open my eyes. Before, I always had to force my eyes open by using my brows and forehead, but now I can open them comfortably without doing that, which is really amazing and satisfying. Because of that, I definitely feel less eye strain, and even my overall expression feels much more relaxed. Even back at 2 weeks, people around me were saying, "Your eye shape looks clearer" and "Your impression looks softer," but now, after a month, I hear more comments like "It looks naturally better." It doesn't stand out too much, but my overall impression feels more polished, so personally I'm even more satisfied. It's still so surprising that when I take photos, my eyes come out clearly without me consciously tensing them like before. Small changes like this in daily life keep adding up, and they make me think even more often that I made the right decision by having the surgery. I heard it still takes a bit more time before everything fully settles, but even at this stage I'm very satisfied and I'm looking forward to what's ahead. These days I keep thinking I made the right choice to trust them from the first consultation through the surgery and recovery process.
