Nose Surgery Reviews

3-month review after eye surgery (incision, ptosis correction) + nose surgery (short nose, bulbous nose)

Hello~ I'll tell you about the kind of look that helped me overcome my appearance anxiety after getting eye and nose surgery at [Clinic A]. (3 months)

First of all, the biggest factor in my appearance anxiety was that my eyes were too small, and I had been hearing for years that I always looked "sleepy," so I was just sick of it ^_^ Even back in school, because my eyes were so small, I got scolded by teachers about 999999 times for supposedly sleeping when I wasn't even sleeping... '';;';' It was absurd, seriously. My eyes were really, really small. Honestly, I had such strong ptosis-type features. My eyelashes kept poking my eyes, and it was just so uncomfortable, the whole thing.

And my nose too, seriously. It was just annoying every time I looked at it. I mean.. the width of my nose was absurdly fat, really to a serious degree. I basically had no nasal bridge at all. Yes, none. Or did I? No, I didn't. Just.... I was really jealous of friends with high nasal bridges. It wasn't that I wanted mine to be super high or anything, I just wanted it to at least exist. But unfortunately I wasn't born that way. Well.. what can you do, that's life. ^_^

So yes, I decided to get eye and nose surgery. As for consultations, I went around to many places, maybe about 10 clinics? But [Clinic A] felt the most trustworthy somehow. I felt a lot of trust because they said clearly, "This is possible and this isn't, so doing that won't help." And the manager also told me that since it was my first surgery, I should look around more places and decide slowly ^^ (In other plastic surgery clinics, there was a bit of pressure about leaving a deposit, but here there was really none of that.)

For the surgery I received, I had incision double eyelid surgery and ptosis correction for the eyes, and for the nose I had autologous costal cartilage, short-nose correction, and alar reduction. For reference, I was treated by Director Ham Gi-won. While researching and going through consultations, the thing I felt was most important was whether the director's aesthetic sense matched mine, right? Especially for the nose, if it's raised too much it feels burdensome and looks really obvious, so you probably get what I mean. But the director's aesthetic sense is really. Just legendary. It's exactly natural while still having a bit of glamour. It gives such a "this feels like mine" kind of feeling. After the eye and nose surgery, I played a game with my friends guessing where I got it done, and they said the nose really didn't look obvious. And I was worried a lot about pain because it was autologous costal cartilage surgery, but... they made it hurt less than I expected, so it didn't take long before I could return to daily life. The eye line is so pretty too~!! I was also worried that because it was an incision, the swelling would last a long time, but it's settling in well. I'm so, so satisfied......
