Eye Surgery Reviews

Review of consultations for eye revision surgery (2)

T.P.W.S (S.J.S) - I didn’t feel like they pushed me too hard, and they took photos of my face with a tablet and explained everything while looking at the overall proportions. The consultation coordinator was okay too, but there was a bit of pressure to leave a deposit. When I left without paying a deposit, their attitude seemed a little different, but maybe that was just my imagination.. N.S.H (G.J.H) - I went early in the morning so there were no people there, and the consultation coordinator felt very young. It didn’t feel like they were especially skillful at speaking; more like they were obviously inexperienced? I felt a bit like they were trying to size me up. After the consultation, they sent me a summary by KakaoTalk, and it felt like there wasn’t any excessive pushiness. I also thought the price was fairly low. The doctor is a bit aloof, but answers everything well when you ask. He isn’t the main director, but he seemed to have a long career, so it didn’t seem bad at all. K.S.T (private) - I went because it was a private clinic and there were a lot of mentions of eye revision surgery, but the doctor was legendary-level cold.. I saw it in other reviews too, where people said he just stares silently for a few seconds, and it was true I also had a lot of moments where I was just like, huh.. and staring back, and if you ask something, he does answer gently, but he just doesn’t say much. If you go without knowing that, you might get thrown off..? The consultation coordinator was a bit older, but that actually made me trust them more, and it was the first coordinator I’d seen who hadn’t had plastic surgery. The surgical method felt conservative, which I liked, but maybe because I forgot to ask or because they didn’t mention it, there was no separate explanation about aftercare. And from other reviews I looked up, it seems they don’t really do anything special separately. There aren’t many reviews to begin with, and based on old reviews there’s even mention that the stitches aren’t removed by the doctor.
