Liposuction Reviews

Three handcrafted liposuction clinic visits after doing the rounds: [Clinic A], [Clinic B], [Clinic C]

Recently, after some rapid weight gain and loss, I decided on liposuction as my first step and started looking into it. But then I got scared by stories about people dying during liposuction, the Keimyung University doctor who killed Shin Hae-chul, and so on, so I ended up having a second round of doubts about whether I should even do it.. (I think there are many people like me) Even so, after hearing jokes on variety shows about trans women getting liposuction two or three times, I thought, okay, things must have become much more stable than before, so let’s look into handcrafted hospitals! and made a third decision to go out and visit clinics. The places I visited were [Clinic A], [Clinic C], and [Clinic B]. Honestly... I was a bit uneasy that I had narrowed it down to clinics that were not plastic surgery hospitals, meaning there was no board-certified plastic surgeon there. But I also heard that there are many skilled general doctors, and since I could not find a plastic surgery clinic that was 100% handcrafted, I went in for consultations...!! (If anyone knows a 100% non-mechanical / non-mixed handcrafted plastic surgery clinic, please recommend it!)* All were under sedation / no anesthesiologist on site / not plastic surgery hospitals* - [Clinic A]: high 800s (compression garment not included), thin cannula, CCTV available, extra fee if BMI exceeds the 기준 (I am around 160/60), and they said they do only two surgeries per day : As expected from a place with the title of first-generation handcrafted liposuction, the building itself looked a little old, and when I met the doctor during the consultation, he was composed but clearly older : But the surprise was that once you entered the building and then the hospital entrance, the interior was flashy and luxurious : The consultation staff also had a tall, very elegant vibe(?) : The consultation was conducted with the motto of removing safely rather than removing as much as possible, and the estimate came out about as expected. *: You do not need to wear a compression garment / I thought not having to sweat to death in a compression garment in summer was a huge plus, and I went because of the reputation for excellent aftercare : When I was researching, this was my top choice, but after the consultation I hesitated because I am a woman who wants both my **arms and abdomen** done, and they said it could not be done at the same time : They said I would need to have surgery once and then again a month later, and I was like... that... would really... be a tough process, wouldn't it? Other than that, this is still my top choice : If you only want one area done, I really, really recommend it - [Clinic B]: high 800s (compression garment included). They emphasized the thin cannula. Additional fee if BMI exceeds the 기준, and they only do one case in the morning and one in the afternoon. Arms and abdomen cannot be done together, so I passed... : But here I dropped from second place to third place because of the staff joking and chatting at the front desk : This is just my own worry, but the CCTV news about a liposuction surgery where the patient was body-shamed and sexually harassed flashed through my mind : I did not want that kind of situation, so I wanted to go to a quiet hospital : Also, they said it was handcrafted, but they use an ultra-micro-vibration cannula, so I was like, huh? I was looking for a place that was not mechanical, but vibration made me worry again : But I heard that no handcrafted clinic can do it with absolutely no vibration, and that mixed techniques are generally the norm, so I got worried again : so I asked the clinics I visited two or three more times.. : Still, it is a place famous for great contours, so if it suits you, I recommend going- - [Clinic C]: high 700s (compression garment included). Extra fee if ultrasound is used, they also do two cases per day, CCTV available, 100% handcrafted, and arms and abdomen can be done at the same time!!! : While I was seriously considering having surgery twice, I heard that this place, which had been my third choice, could do it all at once, and on the other hand the safety issues emphasized above by [Clinic B] and [Clinic A] : worried me so much that I really harassed the consultation coordinator... I kept asking whether it was really okay, how much tumescent solution would be used, and how they would handle emergencies, and so on : I thought the fact that they did an ultrasound diagnosis was interesting, and I was shocked by my own fat layer... but that is not the important part : I put down a deposit here and left, and the biggest reason I trusted them and went ahead was that they said aftercare and revision were possible based on 1-month / 3-month / 6-month progress (!) : asymmetry / areas where less fat came out / dents, etc. : and if you want a reoperation after looking at the fat ultrasound, they will do it if you pay a 220,000 won sedation fee.....(?) I asked the other hospitals about aftercare too, but : I could not get a clear answer, and they only said that it would not happen and that if it really were necessary they would consult me then, which bothered me.. : Here they explained the things I was worried about in detail, and said they had a system that could handle it, : and apparently many people even come here for revision surgery from other hospitals : I ended up leaning toward this place and left a deposit... For reference, I was still 160 cm and 53 kg through 2024, and before that, while doing 8-ball I had even hit 44 kg and 45 kg, : but because of a happy relationship and alcohol/snacks, I kept gaining rapidly and want to stop breaking my all-time highest weight record, so I decided on liposuction I wanted to return with a review, so I started with a clinic-visit review... I hope this helps anyone who, like me, is full of worries and fear but has decided to go through with it
