Review of 4 clinics for buried suture & natural adhesion double eyelid surgery

First of all, if you look at my previous post, there are eye photos there. My eyebrow-to-eye distance is very narrow, I have quite a bit of fat on the eyelid, the skin itself is thick, and I have a very deep hidden double eyelid line. I want an in-out line. I did not bring separate photos to any of the 4 clinics.------------------------------------------------------------1. [Clinic A] Went in right away with no waiting. Consultation was conducted in the order of director > surgeon. Both were very kind. In particular, the surgeon explained the basic knowledge of double eyelid surgery, so it felt like a good first clinic to visit. They drew the line for about 3 minutes and I liked it. However, the line was drawn only on my left eye by my standards. The amount of fat in my left and right eyes is different, and even my hidden double eyelid lines are slightly uneven, so I thought I would explain my eye structure myself and they would say there was no choice but incision. They did not recommend incision and said it was an easy eye that could be done sufficiently with buried sutures. They also recommended upper corner surgery. Non-incisional double eyelid surgery + fat removal: 1,650,000 won / additional upper corner surgery: 550,000 won Consultation fee: 11,000 won. There was no mention of a deposit at all.------------------------------------------------------------2. [Clinic B] Went in right away with no waiting. Consultation was conducted in the order of surgeon > manager. The surgeon was kind and approachable. I had heard a lot of people say the manager was not kind, so I was worried, but that was only relative because the managers at the other clinics were extremely kind; I did not get the impression that she was rude. They drew the line on both eyes for about 6 minutes. I liked the line. They recommended 3 mm above the hidden double eyelid line. When looking at the left eye, they said it was an eye that did not need fat removal and that they would not do fat removal. They said that even if fat removal were done, there would be no visible difference. For quick buried sutures, they suggested 3 mm and 4 mm, and 3 mm seemed more natural. The 4 mm option made the eyelid area bulge a bit too much, so it could look burdensome. But when looking at the right eye, they said this eyelid area was a bit more bulging, so it might be possible to remove fat here. They asked what I wanted to do, and I said I wanted to go with fat removal. The stitches are removed after 3 to 4 days, there is no aftercare, and the AS period is 1 year. Quick buried sutures + fat removal: 1,000,000 won in cash, 1,200,000 won by card Consultation fee: none. No deposit was mentioned at all.------------------------------------------------------------3. [Clinic C] Went in right away with no waiting. Consultation was conducted in the order of manager > surgeon > manager. Both were kind. The surgeon was kind and serious, dignified. They seemed to spend about 15 minutes drawing the line. They checked each eye dozens of times, checked both separately and together, looked from close up and from far away, and were extremely meticulous. I liked the line. It was a little more naturally styled? They recommended 3 mm above the hidden double eyelid line. In fact, my eye structure is quite limited for making double eyelids, so the lines drawn at each clinic were all similar. To fundamentally solve the bulging eyelid and stuffy structure, a forehead lift would be needed, but they said that is not recommended because it is something done at an older age. When I said another clinic had recommended corner surgery, they said my inner corners already have a nice shape and are well formed, so they did not recommend it. They also did not recommend outer corner surgery or eyelid correction. Major swelling lasts 2 weeks, and moderate swelling lasts about 2 to 3 months. Non-incisional double eyelid + fat removal: base price 1,980,000 won. With various discounts, it becomes 1,680,000 won. If you pay a 100,000 won deposit, you get a 250,000 won discount, so the final price becomes 1,430,000 won. If you cancel up to one week before surgery, the deposit is fully refunded; the manager informed me of that in advance. Consultation fee: 10,000 won. I paid a 100,000 won deposit.------------------------------------------------------------4. [Clinic D] Waited about 10 to 15 minutes. Consultation was conducted in the order of surgeon > manager. Both were kind. They drew the line for about 10 minutes. They checked it quite a few times and on both sides. I liked the line. They recommended 3 mm above the hidden double eyelid line. They discussed a lift together with [Clinic C], but said they did not recommend it, and recommended eyelid correction. Natural adhesion: 1,100,000 won, eyelid correction: 1,100,000 won, fat removal: 550,000 won. With various discounts, the final price for natural adhesion plus eyelid correction together was 2,750,000 won > 2,330,000 won. If eyelid correction is excluded, it becomes 1,650,000 won > 1,400,000 won. There was no consultation fee. A deposit was mentioned, but they said it was fine as long as I contacted them by 6 p.m., so there was no pressure at all.------------------------------------------------------------In total I visited 4 clinics, and overall the desired surgery date is mid-July. What I care about most first is how long the swelling lasts. I have an important event in mid-September. So the places I am currently deciding between are [Clinic B], which is the cheapest and has the least swelling (the quick buried suture swelling is very short), and [Clinic D], whose strong conviction in not recommending lifts or corner surgery and whose careful line design based on my eye structure I really liked. I like how well [Clinic D] looked at my line and eye structure, but I am worried because the swelling may last longer. For now I reserved a date in mid-July at [Clinic D] and paid the deposit... but since it is two months until mid-September, should I not worry too much about the swelling...? Rather than deciding only based on the September schedule, maybe it is better to look at the whole forest instead of just the tree... I am planning to think about it until the 6th and then decide.
