I had Ulthera before, so this time I switched to Ultherapy Prime and tried it. I am leaving this here in case anyone is curious whether they can feel the difference.
They said it lets them see the deeper layers of the skin more precisely. The doctor showed me the screen before the procedure, let me check my skin layers directly, and explained which layer would be treated most intensively. That gave me more trust than I expected.
The sensation during the procedure was not very different from regular Ulthera. There is naturally pain, and honestly the shooting sensation is pretty strong. But that is how lifting procedures are. It varies from person to person, but I could tolerate it.
The next day after the procedure, I felt a little sore and tight, and after that I returned to daily life without any special discomfort.
The effect tends to appear gradually starting around 1 to 2 months later. My jawline became a bit sharper, and I could clearly feel the nasolabial folds easing up. Rather than an obvious pulling-up feeling, it felt more like everything naturally returned to its original place.
Hearing people around me say I looked different made me even more certain. For someone who has already experienced regular Ulthera, the improved precision is noticeable. If someone is considering their first Ulthera-type treatment, I think starting with Prime directly might be better.
