My upper lip wasn't extremely thin to begin with, but overall the volume in the upper lip felt slightly lacking, so it always left me with a bit of a disappointment. Even when I put on lip color more strongly, it didn't have as much dimension as I wanted, so I started looking into lip filler because I wanted to just add a little volume naturally. After looking through various reviews, I booked a consultation at Dresser because the design looked the best. During the consultation, I said right away that I didn't want overly plump lips or anything obviously done, and that I just wanted to naturally add volume. Then they looked at my lip line and designed it to fit me, and explained things in quite a lot of detail. There wasn't any atmosphere of aggressively recommending a bunch of things, so I think the consultation itself was comfortable. The procedure ended much faster than I expected. I was a little nervous, but once I actually did it, it just felt like a small sting, so it was better than I thought. When I looked in the mirror right after it was done, the volume in my upper lip had come up a little and the line felt more refined. Even when there was swelling, it didn't feel excessively swollen, and after a few days it settled naturally. What I noticed most from the side was the added dimension, and overall my lips felt less flat. At first I worried about what if it looked too obvious, but it came out much more natural than I expected, so I wondered if I had been worrying for nothing. Lip color goes on much better now, and my overall impression looks a bit softer, so I'm satisfied. I think I'll get it done here again when the maintenance period ends.
