Review of Yonsei UP

0. Why I decided to do it Like everyone else, my problem was nasolabial folds.. It started with hollowness beside my nose and was beginning to form wrinkles down to the corners of my mouth. I tried fillers around my mouth and everything else, but nothing lasted even a month. In the end, I decided I should fill the area beside my nose first, so I decided to have aristocratic surgery. 1. Consultation I watched all the videos from [Clinic A] in advance, wrote down what I wanted to ask, and went for a consultation. The doctor was confident, and when I asked about other surgeries, they said I wasn’t old enough for them yet and wouldn’t do them, which made me trust them more.. lol The consultant’s explanation wasn’t particularly helpful (but the doctor performs the surgery anyway, so what can you do..). Still, I was more satisfied than at other clinics because there was no pressure to schedule surgery and the atmosphere was comfortable. 2. Surgery Right after surgery, as soon as I woke from anesthesia, I was quite satisfied with the result. There was no widening of the nose and my philtrum looked the same, but I was told the final result would feel more natural from this point. It’s been about three days now, and the swelling is at its peak, so my philtrum looks longer and my nose has widened. It seems like it will return once the swelling fully goes down (the clinic said so too), but I’ll have to wait and see. 3. Facilities It doesn’t seem like they advertise much, and there were many affluent older women. People seemed to come through word of mouth and online videos, and everyone working there had a very comfortable impression without an overdone plastic-surgery look. The interior was excellent, with a private recovery room, sink, and locker. At other hospitals, you store your belongings, wash your face, and move to a private room, but here everything is done in one room T_T 4. Kindness From the nurses in the operating room to the staff, everyone was kind. Above all, their chat responses were extremely fast. 5. Conclusion If the final result is close to how it looked immediately after surgery, I’ll be very satisfied. Since the swelling hasn’t gone down yet and I don’t know the final result, I decided to set my expectations at 4 out of 5. If I remember after the swelling subsides, I’ll come back for an update.
