Eye Surgery Considerations

[Clinic A] review

Why I decided on revision rhinoplasty - I had my first rhinoplasty with silicone, but for various reasons I had to have the implant removed first. After removing it, the biggest stress was that my nasal bridge had become too low. Above all, I absolutely did not want an implant for my next revision, and I wanted to find a method that was both safe and could settle firmly.

Why I chose [Clinic A] - While visiting multiple clinics to research revision rhinoplasty, I came across reviews of autologous rib rhinoplasty on YouTube. Because I desperately did not want another revision, [Clinic A], which specializes in autologous rib cartilage, caught my attention. During the consultation, Director Kim Hyun-joo showed firm confidence in the surgery, which gave me deep trust, so I booked right away.

Consultation and surgical method - After a thorough consultation with Director Kim Hyun-joo, I decided on the following: Nasal bridge: 3D custom DCF using minced rib cartilage Tip: autologous rib cartilage with septal reinforcement and extension Additional corrections: lowering the columella, nasolabial angle correction, and functional rhinitis surgery I underwent rhinoplasty designed entirely with my own tissue, without using any implant.

Recovery and honest satisfaction at two months Pain and recovery: The rib area where the autologous rib cartilage was harvested was quite painful until about one month after rhinoplasty, causing some inconvenience in daily life. But now that it has been two months, the pain has completely disappeared and I am comfortable! Nasal shape and satisfaction: Personally, I do feel the bridge volume is slightly lacking. However, the director said it was the most ideal and harmonious shape for the current condition of my nose, so I am trusting the expert opinion and staying satisfied. Most of all, I feel reassured that I completed revision surgery safely without an implant.
