This is 1 month after Inofit nose surgery.
I ended up going to Obli last, after visiting several other hospitals first.
At Obli Plastic Surgery, the director and all the staff were very kind.
Even though they must have been busy and tired from so many surgeries and consultations, Director Kim Da-alm treated patients as people and explained everything one by one, which left a very strong impression on me (the best among the hospitals I visited!)
Director Kim Da-alm explained things in such detail that now I can even roughly read my own nose CT, lol.
For me, my nose had been broken and bent from a past injury, and because I had emergency surgery at a university hospital without an open incision, the nose had not improved properly. Also, I had functional problems with breathing, so since I was already going to have something done to my nose, I decided to improve it cosmetically as well, and that is why I decided to have surgery at a plastic surgery clinic.
But at the hospitals I visited before, after looking at my nose CT, they all recommended at least two types of functional nose surgery.
Everywhere I went, they kept saying I needed functional nose surgery, so in a way I felt relieved. What is hardest is when I feel pain or discomfort and the doctor tells me there is nothing wrong.
Then at Obli, which I visited last, the director said there was no need to do functional nose surgery for my nose.
But for a moment, when the director said I did not need functional nose surgery, I was completely thrown into confusion. I had thought I would breathe better only if I had functional nose surgery.
But the director compared my CT with the director's own CT and with other patients' CT scans, and said I did not need functional nose surgery, and that treatment with rhinitis medication alone would be enough for me to improve.
I thought a lot about it here. Honestly, I thought everything the director said was right, but I was shocked that my rhinitis would not be solved by one surgery, so I kept 고민하는 about it. I think I kept asking the same things over and over again, but thank you to the director for pointing out the unnecessary surgery and answering my repeated questions!
Still, after thinking it through rationally, I trusted the director and decided on Obli.
The reason I chose Inofit was that my nose was more bent than I expected, so they recommended a customized silicone Inofit implant.
During surgery, I moved too much while asleep, so the operation went on for about 2 hours with me almost awake the whole time. Still, the director took good care of me during the surgery, so I think it ended well.
After surgery, right after the operation, they showed me the photos they had taken immediately, and the crooked nose was corrected much better than the preoperative plan had predicted. I could immediately feel that the three-dimensional definition had changed clearly, and I remember being truly surprised.
Now it has been 1 month, and no one notices unless I tell them. I only told a few close friends, but it is so natural that I probably did not even need to say anything! I am glad that my crooked nose improved even better than I had expected before surgery, and my breathing has also improved a lot~
