Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

In the end, facial contouring was the answer for my facial width... An honest review of Cookie's three-part contouring surgery

It all started when I saw one Reel in my Instagram algorithm and saved it as if I were hypnotized... lol https://www.instagram.com/reel/DUnIy3GiRYh/?stkn=M... The smooth line with absolutely no excess width was exactly my ideal, and when I looked it up, Cookie Plastic Surgery was apparently well known for its somewhat glamorous doll-like contouring line?? Honestly, I had dieted really hard and my body was thin, but my face alone was broad and flat, which caused me a lot of stress haha. I spent quite a bit on contouring injections and InMode, but because my bone structure itself was wide, I ultimately just kept going in circles... T_T It took me about two years to realize it was a bone-structure problem ^^... What impressed me most during my consultation with Dr. Jeong Seong-mo was that he examined the locations of the nerve lines and the condition of my bone structure, then pointed things out in detail 💕 He said that for my face shape, rather than blindly shaving down the 45-degree cheekbones, I needed to preserve volume and also push in the lateral cheekbones to reduce the width I wanted. He emphasized leaving a slight angle beneath the ears for my square jaw, recommended cortical osteotomy as well, and said he would shape the chin so it would fall naturally even without specifically touching it 😊 The surgical plan he recommended was cheekbone reduction, square-jaw surgery, and chin-tip surgery (V-line). Even when I went for consultations at other hospitals... somehow... I felt my expectations would be lower than here, so I just paid the deposit that same day lol. Honestly, from the day of surgery through day three, my neck hurt and the compression garment felt stuffy, so I briefly regretted it lol. But after a week, when the major swelling rapidly went down and I looked in the mirror, I was happy to see that the excess horizontal width of my face, which I had always been busy covering with my hair, had completely been cleaned up ❣️ After facial contouring, even when I loosely tied my hair and tucked it behind my ears, there were no bumpy protruding lines, so I felt I had made the right decision. My facial features are the same, but reducing the excess space made my eyes and nose look much more defined, so people around me keep asking what I had done and whether I lost weight lol. Rather than wasting money and time on procedures, I think the answer was to finish the job safely at a place that properly evaluates the bones 😝 I was told I should wait and see how the residual swelling settles for up to a year, but I am already extremely satisfied with the line 🤗
