I did 12 in-person consultations from Konkuk University to Apgujeong and Sinsa. My muscle mass is 29 kg, and even the axillary breast area is muscle, so everyone said it wouldn't be easy to remove. But from the consultation onward, they were so sincere and gave realistic advice, which is why I decided on Seluo. I'm introducing it to acquaintances here and there too, and it seems to have recently gone up to 190.. Still, I thought it was cheap for unlimited upper-arm, scapula, and axilla, so I additionally paid the company 180,000 won for a custom compression garment!
When I worked as an interpreter at a plastic surgery clinic, I knew liposuction hurts more than people expect, so I prepared myself mentally, but ironically the ankle injection hurt the most. I could raise both arms very well from day one, but taking the compression garment on and off still gives me sharp stinging and a feeling like the muscle is tearing. Still, I'm going about daily life with absolutely no problem.
I had surgery on Monday, took Tuesday off, and went right back to work on Wednesday, so normal life is completely possible. I wasn't able to lift both arms fully on day one, but I could at least tie my hair, so I immediately bent over, washed my hair, showered, removed the bandages, and did everything.
Because I have so much muscle, doctors at multiple places told me that if I were going to do liposuction, I should stop exercising. So I rested from exercise for 2 months and had surgery with skeletal muscle mass at 29 kg. They said they removed about 1300 cc, and since other skinny people got around 2000 cc out, I realized just how much muscle I had in my arms, lol;;; At another hospital, they told me that because my tissue responds well to exercise and muscle can build up easily, my upper-body workouts should be avoided as much as possible, and I should focus on Zumba or K-pop dance cardio instead, so I didn't sign up for an extra gym membership and just signed up for Zumba dance, haha. I'm just sad because I have so much muscle, that's me,,, So many hospitals kept telling me I have a lot of muscle, that this part is thick, that even the triceps are all muscle, that even if they removed it it wouldn't show, and because they said it without confidence, I'm actually very satisfied with this level.
I feel like if people with soft fat go there, they could really end up with bone-thin arms... With this amount, I'm already satisfied enough to just walk around in sleeveless tops. The hardest thing is wearing the compression garment as the weather gets hotter, lolllllllllll. The pain ranking is really: ankle injection + putting on and taking off the compression garment are the hardest, and the arm itself is totally bearable!!!
