I had a revision rhinoplasty using autologous costal cartilage. As promised, I’m leaving this review for everyone. I’m now entering my third week after surgery. Overall, my satisfaction is currently about 80%. During the first two weeks, it was extremely swollen, and my nose looked very long and too high, so I was genuinely stressed every day when looking in the mirror. Now that the major swelling has gone down to some extent, my satisfaction is increasing. As I requested, the front is rounded, the side profile is defined, and my nose does not look long. They reflected everything I mentioned, but one slightly disappointing point is that the doctor may prefer a straighter line; to me, it looks somewhere between a slightly curved-straight line and a straight line. Since I have an upturned nose, I think it turned out this way because the correction focused on that area. Still, if you prefer a more curved aesthetic, be sure to request that clearly or find a line with the curved aesthetic you want. The correction of the upturned nose seems truly excellent, and the aesthetic result is good. They also reflect feedback very well. Oh, and the incision from harvesting the autologous rib cartilage is neat and only hurt for exactly one day. Since I was going to do it anyway, I recommend autologous rib cartilage.
