I got my first cosmetic surgery in my third year of middle school, and since then I’d only been getting Botox here and there. But lately, after turning 20 and going to Seoul once or twice, I saw so many really pretty people that it hit me hard, so I started looking into surgery again and found this board. There are things you can only see once you’re above Level 3, so partly to level up and partly because I’m bored, I’m just going to share my double-eyelid surgery story. In my third year of middle school, I had an incisional double-eyelid surgery, ptosis correction, and epicanthoplasty. I think the doctor said my eyes were originally uneven, so he would balance them with double eyelids. Ha......... seriously, what even...... They just ended up as uneven double eyelids as they were. One side is an in-fold, the other is an out-fold. I’ve been wearing double-eyelid tape on just one side for about two years. I hadn’t thought about revision surgery, but it’s annoying to put on double-eyelid tape every time I do my makeup, and if I keep doing this for the rest of my life, I’m worried the skin will stretch, so I’m considering revision surgery once the semester ends.
