It's already been 3 weeks since I got arm liposuction because I wanted to slim down my upper arms before getting married! I got consultations from several places, but since I had never had surgery before and was a bit worried about anesthesia, I deliberately chose a hospital with an anesthesiologist on site. The pain lasted until day 3, and the bruising faded completely within 2 weeks, so it was fine. Because I have muscular arms, they told me I would not become super thin even with surgery, and that it would be good to lose more with dieting at the same time. But from the reviews, it seems like even for people with a lot of fat, they do not remove everything down to super-thin levels because of safety and overall balance of the arms. Honestly, I think that is better for me too! I am at 3 weeks post-op now, and the fit of the tank tops and short sleeves I used to wear is so much better, so I am fully satisfied! The swelling seems to have gone down quite a bit too :) I am not super thin yet, but this should count as a success, right? I am still a bit chubby, so I am planning to diet and trim a bit more together! haha
