(See previous post) <How I researched> Purpose: choose the line I wanted, filter out blacklisted clinics or places with poor follow-up, 1. Cafes 2. This community 3. Google search 4. Open chat rooms for liposuction 5. Ask for information directly through cafe chats <Review> Entire arms, axillary accessory breast tissue, scapula area, clavicle area, bra line (I do not know whether I heal slowly or most people are like this) Week 1: I felt like I had really been hit hard somewhere, but like only the bones had not broken. Would this be what it feels like to get hit by a dump truck? Bruising and swelling at their peak. This is the period when the shape looks off and you can start spiraling mentally, but at least until week 4, trust the hospital staff and the doctor and wait. Really, what kind of wealth and glory did I think I was going to enjoy to make me do this... Week 2: It felt like falling from the third floor. Bruising and swelling still completely there, and I could not fully straighten my arms. By week 2, seeing YouTubers who are already completely fine was so amazing and strange to me. My conclusion is that maybe only people with surgery-friendly bodies who survived regardless of pain become YouTubers.. If it hurts too much, forget videos or anything else.. just miserable.. When I put on body lotion, the sensation felt really strange and there was no feeling; I could not even touch my arms. As fibrosis gradually developed, it felt like something was stuck between my armpits and I could not raise my arms. Getting up and lying down was so hard, and even going for a walk made me extremely sensitive because I was afraid someone might bump into me. Week 3: Finally, things start feeling somewhat manageable..! Daily life is possible! Who said to go get radiofrequency treatment at week 3? I almost fainted while getting it, and for five days after that it felt like I had gone back to week 2. I still could not fully straighten my arms, and I still could not tie my hair up, but I could walk around with a bag on my shoulder! I thought the bruising was fading a bit, but after the radiofrequency massage it came back.. I could not even wear clothes unless it was a shirt Week 4: Huh, I finally feel a little better. But mornings still hurt, it is still hard to take things down from high places, and it hurts a lot to rest my arms on anything. Still, the bruising and swelling have gone down a lot, so I finally feel like I really did a good job with my arm liposuction..! Even putting on body lotion feels like I can manage a massage now, so that is nice. But if someone grabs my arm hard, I feel like I might actually faint.. Week 5: Huh..? When did I heal this much..? The bruising is almost all gone except for a little left near the axillary accessory breast area, and I can lift my arms a bit now..! I can tie my hair up! I can even lie on my side for a moment, and putting on body lotion has become easier..! Toward the end of week 5, it feels like the sensation in the inner arm that I use often is coming back too? Not completely, but the inner-arm pain that felt like it was tearing when touched has eased a lot..! I can dress well too! Wow, I went shopping for clothes and the fit changed. I do not regret my liposuctionᰔ But the scars are really annoying.. sob I wonder when they will stop showing.. I probably will not be able to wear sleeveless tops this summer.. But strangely, some areas near the armpit or outer side sometimes sting or itch.. ugh (Final summary after week 5) 1. Since I am insanely, insanely thin, if you only want one area done and nothing else, fine. Otherwise, it is usually better to do the bra line too. The overall width feels different. 2. Personally, I do not know how much the line changes if you open up the elbow area because I did not do it, but please definitely think about the scar issue. 3. Be careful about spiraling mentally until week 4. 4. Strong separate care at a radiofrequency shop should definitely be done only after you have reached the point where you can at least apply body lotion to yourself and do manual massage and it still feels somewhat okay. If you cannot even touch the inner area and think radiofrequency will make it better? Not at all. It feels like the healing area bursts open again inside and the recovery period resets. 5. If the itching is so bad that it wakes you up at night, borrowing help from an antihistamine for a day may be good for your mental health. The itching seems to happen randomly in random places regardless of timing. 6. If you have a bandage allergy, if removing the bandage is harder, or if you feel like the bandage is killing you, you can just live without wearing one. I did not wear one at all, and the hospital never said I absolutely had to put on a large bandage either. (However, no sunlight.) Of course, a bandage is essential when showering.** Some people like the post and ask which hospital it was, but I had a hard time researching liposuction and wrote this purely to help others, so I do not want to stain it with anything and will not mention the hospital at all.. Please understand.. (bow)
