It has been 2 weeks since I got arm liposuction at Choice Line. I had 360-degree upper arm liposuction, plus the armpit area, scapula, and bra line done. The stitches were removed on day 10, and I also had a follow-up with the director. Because I have skin without much elasticity, my arms were a difficult case, but thankfully the surgery went well, and they said the line is already coming out nicely. Even by my own eyes, my upper arms have gotten thinner, and the line from my shoulders down to my arms now falls in a right angle. The upper-arm fat on my underarm area, which used to sag because I lacked elasticity, also feels like it has pulled up a little. Until the stitches were removed, it was somewhat inconvenient. For showers I had to put on a waterproof bandage, then take it off again, disinfect, and put on a circular bandage, and that was a bit bothersome and quite annoying. Since the stitches came out, I can shower comfortably without having to stick on bands. From day 3 after surgery, I was even able to go out for group meetups with friends, so it does not interfere with daily life. Still, you should account for swelling and pain. Even at 2 weeks, my arms and back still ache. Especially when I lie down on the bed to sleep, the parts where my back and arms touch the floor still hurt a bit. After showering, when I apply lotion to my upper arms, my skin feels slightly tingly too. My sensation has not fully returned yet, so it feels awkward. Still, in just 2 weeks the major swelling has gone down and most of the bruising has disappeared. However, raising my arms upward is still not easy. Clothes that you pull over your head like T-shirts, rather than button-up shirts, are still awkward to put on because getting my arms through is hard. When I reach out to tie my sneaker laces, I also feel a tight pulling sensation in the back of my arms. I’m trying to move my arms a lot because I was told that stretching them out fully and making an effort to raise them will help recovery happen faster. Even so, when I shower and change clothes and then look in the full-length mirror, the shoulder and arm line is clearly different from before surgery, so I’m satisfied. Before, my upper body looked a bit bulky, but now that my arms are thinner and the line is set, the whole impression definitely looks different. I had been asking around in many places, and since Choice Line was said to specialize in arm liposuction, I had it done there, and the result seems good. I’m satisfied. I’ll leave another review one month after surgery.
