I'm leaving this as a record and a review after liposuction surgery. I had looked up a ton of reviews before surgery too, so I'll be as honest as possible in case it helps someone else. The main reason I chose [Clinic A] was the scar issue! Hospitals everywhere advertise minimal suturing, but I thought that if they used dissolvable thread instead of nylon, the scar would definitely end up smaller. Also, I thought Dr. Kim Seong-hoon, coming from a general surgery background, would have a good understanding of the human body, and since liposuction isn't a surgery where they open up the area and look inside, I figured you need a good sense of aesthetics to create clean lines. When I looked at the doctor, it felt like he really understood what lines women want! So after comparing several hospitals, I chose [Clinic A] 😆 Actually, I had thigh surgery a month earlier, so when it was time for my arms, I was sleeping well and wasn't very tense But I still can't get used to that povidone smell in the operating room The smell from sterilization in the operating room was more painful than the pain after liposuction 🥲 Looking at the before photos, my arms weren't that thick, but I had sagging flesh underneath, so they weren't pretty arms Even when I raised them and put them next to my face, my upper arms looked too chubby compared to my face, which was stressful But I also didn't want my upper arms to become too thin compared to my lower arms and look like bowling pins, so when I told the doctor I wanted straight arms, not skeleton arms, he said he understood what I meant and would do it that way, which put me at ease before surgery! And as I felt from my thigh surgery, the doctor, the consultation manager, the front desk staff, and everyone else were all so kind! Even though I've been to places like skin clinics, nail salons, waxing shops, and other paid service places, I've never met people this kind before. Every time I visit the hospital, it makes me feel good Right after surgery I did swell a lot, but now my arms are straight even when I raise them and straight even in a standing-at-attention position, so I'm so happy🥰 The incisions were made very subtly in the armpit fold and the elbow crease, so I think they'll barely be visible later. I want time to pass quickly (งᐛ)ว (งᐖ)ว Honestly, this surgery wasn't a waste of money. No, I actually regret not doing it sooner
