Liposuction Reviews

2-month review of upper-arm fat-extraction injections (pain / bruising / daily life / line changes all included)

When I said I was getting a treatment for my upper arms, people around me were like, "What do you even need to do?" and tried to stop me lol My upper body is not especially large, but fat was unusually concentrated only around the triceps area of my upper arms, so no matter how much weight I lost, that part stayed the same. My tissue is very soft too, so the so-called "hello arm fat" was really bad... It sagged to the level of a hanbok jeogori, so after being stressed about it for a long time, I finally got the treatment, and now I am at the 2-month mark 😊 How did I decide? I gathered information by reading more than 100 community reviews and even sending private messages. The reviews in this chat room were really on the honest side, so I used them a lot as reference, and they even wrote about the not-so-good stuff and the clumping in the early stage, which actually made me trust it more. I consulted at several clinics, but there was a clear difference between the places that just said, "We will take it out for you," and the places that explained, "We will remove this part but leave this part so it looks natural." The latter was the director who was certified as famous for arm treatments, and they explained specifically that it was important for the line to remain natural, so I decided to do it here right away. Size change (this is probably what you are most curious about) I measured it consistently in the same spot. Before treatment 31.9 cm -> 2 months 28.7 cm Weight down 5 kg and arm circumference down 2.7 cm For aftercare, I kept going for medium-low frequency treatment regularly, and for diet I did not starve myself, I just ate protein-focused meals and controlled portions. Honestly, if I had not done aftercare together with the procedure, I would not have seen this result. I want to say in advance that you should not think it ends with just the procedure T_T Right now, feeling less bulky and having the line refined is so fascinating that the same clothes look different, and I laughed a little to myself lol I started wearing sleeveless tops that I had stuffed away, and not having to worry about the angle of my arms in group photos is also a big change. When people around me ask, "Did you lose weight?" I just say, "I went on a diet~" and move on, and no one knows lol The fact that it does not look obvious is actually proof that it was refined naturally, I think. Detailed review for those who are curious 1. Procedure pain What surprised me was that it really did not hurt much at all Because reviews often say it hurt so much they regretted it, I was worried I was even the kind of person who wondered whether I should cancel on the day of the procedure lol But only the anesthetic injection hurt, and everything else barely hurt at all The elbow area stung a little, but the anesthetic hurt more lol Rather, during the procedure there is this unpleasant sensation, right? Honestly, it was the first time I had ever felt anything like that in my life, and it was so unpleasant that it was the worst part It feels kind of like the fat is being pushed and sucked in? Hard to describe in words, but that was harder to handle than the pain 2. Bruising after the procedure Maybe the director is very skilled, or maybe I just do not bruise easily, but compared with other people, I really had very little bruising Even when I went in for aftercare, the nurse said I did not have much bruising But if someone who does not know about procedures saw it, it might look like a pretty big bruise, so my mom and dad were very surprised lol The scars are about the level of an injection mark, so they are barely noticeable Now you can hardly tell where it was done If you have events where you need to wear sleeveless tops, it seems better to consider that in the early stage 3. Daily life after the procedure Until around day 4, I actually had no pain at all Maybe because it felt like sensation in my arm had not come back yet, and the skin around the treated area felt unfamiliar, which was a bit weird From day 5 it gradually came back, but daily life was possible without any problem Because on day 5 I went to Everland lol The most inconvenient things in the beginning were washing my hair and changing clothes I recommend preparing clothes with front openings or loose tops in advance After one week, the bruised areas would sometimes sting like a bruise, and when I stretched my arms fully I felt a pulling sensation inside, but now at the 2-month mark it is almost gone 4. Line changes At first, honestly, I could not really feel the change Because of swelling, there was even a period when it looked bigger, and at week 3 the measurements stopped changing, which made me really anxious But from week 5, the line started to become refined, and now at 2 months the difference is obvious when I wear clothes The line change is more accurately described as "refined" rather than "reduced" It feels like the volume did not disappear, but the line was created And I think I need to mention this too The clumping lasts quite a long time When I touched it, it felt hard and uneven for about a month, and I was really worried that something was wrong, but it gradually loosened up while I was getting aftercare For anyone with clumping, this is normal T_T I had it too I am at the stage where I am satisfied because I have no regrets If you are deliberating about your upper arms, please look carefully and decide cautiously 🤟🏻
