Beforebeforebeforebeforebeforeafterafterafterafterafter Hello! It has been 1 month since I received incisional ptosis correction and upper epicanthoplasty from Director Shin.
The photos above are from before surgery, immediately after surgery, 2 hours after returning home on the day of surgery, and now at 1 month post-op. Please note that all of the photos above are horizontally flipped.
It has only been a month, so the swelling has not fully gone down yet and things are still settling, so I think I need to keep watching until everything settles into place. I am expecting that once all the swelling goes down, my eye shape will look like it did immediately after surgery! Until then, I am managing it very strictly.
Until day 3 after surgery, I was very careful and consistently disinfected and cared for the area with the medicine I received from the pharmacy. I kept visiting the clinic to have the blood scabs managed, and after 1 week I had the stitches removed. Until week 2 after surgery, I consistently did ice compresses, and they said walking a lot helps reduce swelling, so starting from day 3 after surgery, every day I slowly walked for 1 hour and rested for 2 hours, repeating this about 4-5 times. Thanks to that, I toured Seoul a lot haha.
