It’s already been 2 weeks, so I’m leaving a review as both a progress record and a way to share information. The recovery has been surprisingly fast, and I’m amazed by it too. 1. Pain and bruising (current status at 2 weeks) Maybe because I’m a good healer, by the time I reached week 2, all the bruising was gone and the pain had completely disappeared. There’s absolutely no discomfort in daily life or when moving around while wearing the compression garment. 2. Sensation and scars Most of the sensation has returned overall, but the area right next to the armpit still feels slightly dull. It’s not serious enough to worry about, and I was told it will loosen up with time, so I’m going to wait. There is a tiny mark (scar), but since it’s in a very hidden area, it doesn’t bother me at all when I look in the mirror. 3. My own management method (cardio) I’m not getting any separate aftercare treatment, but the doctor said light exercise is good for circulation, so I’ve been doing cardio every day consistently. Compared with just resting, doing cardio and sweating a little every day seems to make the minor swelling go down much faster. If anyone is stuck in a plateau, I highly recommend cardio. 4. Line changes (the part I’m happiest about) I’m happy that my upper arms got slimmer, but the real highlight is my back fat and side line. The bulges over my bra and the side fold that I had before surgery have been cleaned up completely, so my back view is really smooth now. If that area stressed you out, I definitely recommend doing it together. People around me are already noticing and asking why my upper body looks so much more delicate. If you have questions about the hospital or the cost, please leave a private comment. I’ll share everything I know! Fighting, everyone, with your aftercare.
