Review of arm lift + liposuction for sagging upper arm fat

At first, because of my upper-arm fat, I even thought about just getting liposuction, but I saw somewhere that if the skin lacks elasticity, liposuction only reduces volume, so the area where the fat was removed can still sag and make the loose skin even worse. When I let my arms hang down, they were okay enough, but when I raised my arms, the skin stretched from the side of the armpit all the way down below the elbow. I knew this would leave a scar, but I still wanted the method with the most certain effect, so I decided while accepting the scar. It’s been about 4 months since the surgery, and the stretched part of my arm has amazingly tightened right back up. There’s no flapping around, and especially when I wear a T-shirt, the sleeves used to feel tight before, but now they’re loose. My arms fall straight down now, and the line is really, really satisfying. The scar is still fairly dark, but I heard arm-lift scars need to be watched for over a year, so I’m planning to monitor it while getting laser treatment. I keep applying scar ointment, and they said the compression garment no longer has to be worn after about 3 months, but my arm line has stayed slim, so I still wear it occasionally. Compared with having to wear it 24 hours a day until the first month, it’s not that suffocating now since I can take it off here and there. Arm lift scars and lift surgery scars in general are a huge barrier, but once you decide to have the surgery, it does feel relieving, and the results are so good that the scar becomes something you can almost forget. If sagging fat is your stress, a lift feels like the most certain lifting method.
