Liposuction Reviews

Review after 3 months: thigh liposuction + repeated yo-yoing, then lifting the inner sagging tissue

After I had liposuction in the past, the inside of my thighs became uneven and sagged without firmness, so I was really stressed. Exercise could not solve it, so I eventually had thigh lift surgery, and it has already been 3 months, so I am going to summarize everything I have felt so far~ On the day of surgery and at the beginning, the pain was not as severe as I expected, so I was able to walk around well. But the problem was when I had to go to the bathroom Every time I sat on the toilet, the inside of my groin throbbed, and I kept imagining all kinds of things alone, worrying that the stitches might suddenly burst while I was doing my business. After asking the hospital, they said it would not burst because of the posture for using the bathroom, so I barely felt relieved, but I remember being very tense every time I went to the bathroom. The bruising also came down all the way to my knees, dark blue, and I kept wondering when it would go away. Around the one-month mark, I finally took off the tape, and I really felt like I could fly! The bruises down to my knees had improved a lot, and there was no pain at all when lying down. Instead, the heavy feeling inside the thighs lasted about 4 to 5 days. At that time, I could see the line that had been uneven from the old liposuction becoming smooth, which was fascinating, but when I asked at my follow-up visit, they said the major swelling had not gone down yet. From then on, I wore the compression garment really diligently. After 3 months, those big swollen areas that were sticking out had visibly gone down all at once! There is still a little residual swelling, but seeing the sagging, uneven inner thigh skin from before become smoothly tightened makes me so happy every time I look in the mirror these days I would say there is basically no pain now. Maybe just a slight ache inside when I walk for a very long time or on days when I overdo it? Compared with the time when I was tense going to the bathroom, I feel completely free now. Now that it is 3 months in, I am gradually reducing the time I wear the compression garment as instructed by the hospital. The scar is neatly placed along the inner groin crease, so it is almost invisible from the front, but since lift scars need time, I am carefully managing it with scar ointment. I am looking forward to starting scar laser treatment soon, because I think it will fade even more. This got a bit long, but if there are anyone like me who suffered from past liposuction side effects or sagging inner thigh tissue, I hope my experience is even a little helpful!
