Liposuction Reviews

Current state at 4 weeks after thigh liposuction review (from recovery process to results) Current state at 4 weeks after thigh liposuction review (from recovery process to results)

It has already been 4 weeks since my thigh liposuction..! I was also someone who searched through tons of reviews before surgery, so I want to share what the one-month mark feels like 🤭 I was the type who had much more lower-body stress than upper-body stress, and especially the inner thighs and riding breeches made skirt fits look so bad T_T Even if I lost weight, my lower body was the part that stayed until the very end.. haha For about the first 4 days after surgery, it felt very much like intense muscle soreness, and sitting down and standing up, or going down stairs, felt really awkward. Especially for me, the pain and swelling that other people say recover by about week 1 or 2 kept feeling painful and uncomfortable until the end of week 3, so I was honestly a bit anxious, wondering, "Is this really going to get better..?" The swelling lasted quite a long time too. At first it even looked thicker, and the line was bumpy, and when I touched it, it felt hard, so I think I worried a lot 🥲 The bruises also came down below the thighs to the ankles, but as time passed they gradually turned yellow, faded, and disappeared! Now they are almost gone haha The point where it clearly started changing was, I think, when I went back to the clinic, had the stitches removed, and started post-op care. The swelling started going down at a different pace, and the leg line gradually began to look more organized? From that point on, my weight also started dropping again. Right now I am also taking a very small prescribed dose of an appetite suppressant together with diet control, and I feel like it is helping even more when I combine it with exercise! As of now, I have only lost about 2 kg compared with before surgery, but on body composition analysis, only body fat has dropped and muscle mass keeps increasing, so I feel the change in pants fit and thigh line much more than the number on the scale haha I recently started going back to the gym, but they still told me not to do weights yet, so I am slowly exercising only with cardio, stretching, and line management for now haha There are still some hard areas on the inner side, and I still have some fibrosis and bumpy enlarged pores, so T_T I am planning to keep managing it steadily until summer with proper follow-up care at the clinic, self-care at home, and exercise!
