It has already been 6 months since my liposuction! I had 8,600cc of pure fat removed from the full back, side waist, and love handles, and now that the swelling has almost completely gone down and the lines seem to have settled in, I wanted to leave a review.
At first, I was really wondering, 'How much difference could this really make?' But now, when I look at photos taken from behind, I honestly think I am so glad I had the surgery.
Before, the fat would bulge over my bra or my back would look thick, which stressed me out. But now my back line is much smoother, and my waist line has come back naturally too.
The difference is especially noticeable when I wear clothes. Dresses or fitted clothes make me look much slimmer than before, and people around me have also told me that my back view looks completely different.
Until the 1-month mark, there were moments when I thought, 'Is this right?' because of the swelling and firmness, and around 2 to 3 months the lines gradually started to show. But by 6 months, it feels like the final result is almost here.
After the surgery, I kept up with the care the hospital told me to do, and I also tried not to push myself too hard in daily life. Maybe because of that, my recovery went better than I expected.
What I liked most about the hospital I chose was how thorough they were, from the consultation all the way through aftercare.
The director personally checked the fat layer with ultrasound and removed only what was needed, and because the style was to create a natural line instead of taking out too much, I felt reassured. I also liked that they did not pack too many surgeries into one day and instead focused on each person one by one, and the manager and staff took care of me attentively until the end, which made recovery feel secure.
Now, 6 months later, the scars have faded a lot, and the hard areas are almost completely softened, so there is no inconvenience at all in daily life.
If you are stressed about your back and side waist, this was truly a very satisfying surgery for me.
Of course, recovery time differs by person, but if you do not get too impatient about the early swelling, I think you will feel the results getting better and better as time passes.
