When I think back to that time, I really lived those two weeks in utter agony to the point where I wanted to end my life, praying that my eyes would go back to normal.. It's been almost 5 years since the surgery. My double eyelids were done with buried sutures, so I didn't get double eyelid surgery again; I only had non-incisional ptosis correction. It was a surgery that finished quickly, so I really thought it was easy, and since they said that if I didn't like the surgery itself I could go back to my original eyes, I felt even more at ease. The before-and-after photos were also so good that I went with high expectations. I'm the type who researches a lot before procedures and surgeries, but I never thought I'd really get stabbed in the back like that. In the end, the surgery failed, so I told the doctor to release it for me again. My eyes became so wide and bulging, like a frog's, that I couldn't stand looking in the mirror at all. This is a conversation at the clinic - The surgery went fine, so why are you undoing it? - My face feels unfamiliar, and I want to go back to my original eyes... I'm so stressed I can't even eat. - Then don't eat~ If you get hungry someday, you'll eat. - (I was so shocked I couldn't say anything, but anyway I kept speaking as kindly as possible because I thought I shouldn't provoke them and just needed the reversal surgery) I can't even look in the mirror. Could you please just release it again? - You don't have to look in the mirror. Don't look. - Please, I'm begging you. I really want it undone. So at the clinic I signed everything, including a form saying I'd be subject to legal punishment if I posted online and another form agreeing that no refund would be possible, and that day I had the eye correction reversed again. For me, just hearing the first syllable of that hospital's name was truly horrifying, to the point of being traumatic, and the doctor's words were the most shocking part of all. How can a plastic surgeon say something like, 'Don't live by looking in the mirror'..? lol Anyway, I didn't use the hospital name, so there shouldn't be a problem. I just wrote this because it came to mind and I wanted to post about my failed experience
