Around this time last year, I went for a consultation because I was worried about accessory breast tissue, and the manager suggested that since I was already there, I might as well do my arms too. I went on the operating table saying I absolutely did not want skinny, bony arms, only line refinement. The hospital was huge, with many branches, and well-known. It was praised everywhere in many online communities and had lots of recommendations. They said they would keep monitoring me for a full year and guarantee aftercare, so even though it was pricier than the average at the time, I trusted them and decided to have the surgery. The hospital was also famous for emphasizing safety, so I thought it fit my preference since I only wanted line refinement.
The results after one year are like this.
The right arm is fine, but the left arm is like this When I asked the hospital around month 8, they said the wrinkling on the inner side of the arm was part of the recovery process and could last up to a year. So I spent almost 200 on manual treatments, radiofrequency, and all kinds of aftercare up to the 1-year mark, but there was no change. When I went back, they now said it would improve after 2 to 3 years The visible muscle on the outer side is apparently showing because my muscle is large. If I had asked them to make me bony-skinny and drain everything out, I wouldn’t feel so wronged.. And the right arm, which I use more, is actually fine
I went to 9 different hospitals for revision consultations, and they all said that below the deltoid there was only 2 mm of fat left. They said the fat was left too thin, so the muscle texture was showing through. To fix it, they’d need to lay down a 2 to 3 mm layer of fat, but that’s apparently not possible. They said the graft may not take, and it could also end up lumpy. For me, the only solution is fat grafting reconstruction, but re-grafting into the liposuction area has such a low survival rate that the result can’t be guaranteed.. The grafting cost is about 1.5 to 2 times the original surgery cost.
And while digging and digging through revision info, I found out something: apparently big hospitals with many doctors are basically training grounds for doctors, they practice there, gain experience, and then open their own private clinics That explanation seems exactly right. I thought big hospitals were big because they were good at surgery.^^.. At the hospital, they keep saying these issues are not complications and that refunds are absolutely impossible, only persuading me to get revision surgery. But how could I trust them again and let them operate after they already ruined it? I’m trying to get revision surgery somewhere else. If anyone knows a hospital good at arm reconstruction, please recommend one
