Breast Surgery Reviews

[Clinic A] Preservé one-week review

It has already been a week since my surgery. Over the past week, the feeling changed from day to day. On the day of surgery, there was almost no pain, less than I expected, so I thought, 'It doesn't hurt as much as I thought?' But as time passed, the pain gradually increased. Personally, day 3 was the hardest. Every time I took a step, my breasts moved and hurt, and the right side hurt much more. My breasts felt firm, like I had a bouncing ball attached to them, and it also felt like there were stones inside. From day 4 onward, the overall pain started to ease a little, but the taped areas became itchy instead. In particular, the areas around the incision, the upper chest, and the lower chest kept itching, so I would scratch them unconsciously. On day 5, I went to the hospital and had the tape removed. I mentioned the pain in my right nipple, and they explained that the right nipple pain could be a sensory disturbance caused by pressure on a nerve, and that it could improve as I recovered, which made me feel a bit more at ease. I also took my first shower, and when I lifted my arms, my upper chest felt tight, and when I lowered them, my lower chest felt tight. Still, I felt myself getting a little more used to it day by day, and moving around became much easier than at first. The hospital said my recovery was going well and that the swelling was minimal. They also said the upper band could be worn lightly since there was almost no upper fullness, and that I did not have to wear it if it felt uncomfortable. The right side is still firmer than the left and the nipple pain remains, but compared with right after surgery, the overall pain seems to have decreased a lot. I am still recovering, so it will take more time, but I am continuing to recover while looking forward to the swelling going down more and the sensation becoming more natural.
