At first it felt like time would never pass, but it has already been 1 year since my surgery... It has been 1 year since I had contouring at [Clinic A] in Apgujeong. Now all the swelling is completely gone, and my face line has finally settled.
I had a 3D contour set, 230-degree zygoma reduction (with posterior fixation), square jaw surgery, cortical osteotomy, masseter reduction, and chin surgery (rotation contouring).
Even in the early stage, I was already so happy because the small swelling went down and my face looked slimmer, but at the 1-year mark there is no comparison... Once both the big swelling and the residual swelling disappeared, my face line finally became smooth and refined. It really feels like my bone structure is complete now...?
My cheekbones were not extremely prominent, but I wanted a slimmer face, so instead of 3D zygoma reduction I went with 230-degree zygoma reduction. Back then I was worried about nonunion, so I also had posterior fixation, and now, 1 year later, everything is still holding up really well with no problems at all!
My lower face used to look wide and long, so I had a rather masculine, strong impression. But once they combined square jaw surgery, cortical osteotomy, masseter reduction, and chin rotation contouring to clean up the line, my whole image really changed 180 degrees.
At first I was super careful with hard foods and basically lived in the mirror, checking every day when the line would show up. But now, honestly, I sometimes forget I even had surgery because everything is so comfortable and normal. When I think back to the days when I used to get stressed every time I looked in the mirror lol, I really think I made the right choice. So satisfied!!
