I did not have enough volume in my face, so every time I looked in the mirror I looked older, and especially my forehead was flat with sunken areas, which made it look even worse. I looked into fillers and similar options, but I thought fat grafting would be better than fillers, so I had full-face facial fat grafting at Private Plastic Surgery. Right after surgery, there was not much pain in my face, just a bit of dizziness. The thigh where they harvested the fat was actually more sore, and later on I got a fairly large bruise there. They said the fat in the face has to be put in a little plump at first so that after the fat that gets absorbed is gone and the remaining fat settles, there will still be some left, so I wondered if it might look too much, but it seems fine and not too overwhelming at all?! I really, really love my forehead, and the front cheeks and nasolabial fold area were filled in too, so I am satisfied. And I honestly used to have no confidence in my side profile, but now I really like it.. kyuuu Also, I do not know why, but after the fat grafting surgery my skin seems better too, and photos come out much better. If you have little facial fat and are worried about lack of volume, I really think full-face fat grafting is worth considering.
