Cheekbone Surgery Reviews

A review of how I changed after getting contouring surgery from Dr. Lee Ji-hyeok, after feeling self-conscious about my face shape

After graduating from college, I got a job right away and spent about three years doing nothing but work. At first I thought I was just building my career, but at some point I started being overly conscious of my face shape every time I looked in the mirror. My friends were dating and going on blind dates, but I was never really confident in my appearance, so I tended to feel self-conscious when meeting people.

In particular, when I took photos, my cheekbones and jawline seemed to stand out first, and my face looked wide from the side, which stressed me out a lot. If I looked closely, one cheekbone also seemed more prominent, so every time I got photographed I ended up fixing the face shape first. At first I also thought about massage treatments or procedures, but honestly bone structure does not change clearly with things like that. So I did not want to keep living with stress about my face shape, and I started looking into contouring surgery with the mindset that I should at least change the parts that had always been my complex.

I looked up a lot of reviews for triple contouring surgery, and there were more people than I expected who had worried about their face shape for a long time and then went through surgery. I was scared at first, but after reading more and more reviews, I started thinking I should at least get a consultation.

I went to the clinic because my closest friend recommended Dr. Lee Ji-hyeok. My friend said it was an established clinic for contouring, and that the doctor was also well known for contouring surgery, so I think I felt some trust from the very beginning. During the consultation, he was not the flashy type, but that actually made me more comfortable. I said the things that bothered me most were my wide-looking cheekbones, my face shape, and the asymmetry, and the doctor calmly explained what needed to be addressed while looking at my face. I said that rather than making things too small, I wanted a result that fit my face naturally but still looked clearly refined.

At the end of the consultation, we decided to proceed with cheekbones, square jaw, and chin together. Before surgery, I was worried about general anesthesia and whether recovery would be too hard, but after the operation I came to my senses faster than expected and recovery was better than I had imagined. Of course there was swelling at first, but the clinic also provided aftercare on a weekly basis, which really helped a lot.

Now the swelling has gone down a lot and my facial line is becoming more visible, but I still get a little amazed every time I look in the mirror. Before, whenever I took photos, I would focus on my face shape first and immediately start editing. Now that the cheekbones look more balanced, the empty space in my face feels much smaller. The asymmetry bothers me less than before, and overall my impression looks softer, so I am satisfied. My coworkers even asked if I lost weight and said my face looks smaller, which made me feel proud lol

One surgery does not suddenly change your whole life, but at least I feel like I can look at my face more comfortably than before. I used to feel so much stress about my face shape on my own, and I am satisfied enough to think I should have at least gotten a consultation sooner. If you are like me and have been looking up triple contouring surgery reviews because of your cheekbones, face shape, or asymmetry, I think it is worth at least getting a consultation instead of worrying alone.
