It’s already been 3 months since I had contouring surgery on my square jaw, cheekbones, and chin! Honestly, before surgery I had so many worries. I wasn’t in my 20s anymore, and I was entering my 30s, so I wondered if it was really right to go through such a big bone-cutting surgery now. I kept clinging to reviews every night because I worried whether recovery would go well, or whether loss of skin elasticity would send me straight into sagging cheeks. But as I got older, the empty space in my face made me look harsher and older, and that stressed me out, so I decided not to wait any longer. My motto was naturalness above all else, so let me summarize the key things I’ve felt at 3 months! What satisfied me most was that my face shape, which used to look uneven from the front and at 45 degrees, became smooth. When reducing the square jaw, they kept a slight angle near the ear with a long curve, so there’s absolutely no step-off and it looks truly natural, like my real bone. People around me just think I lost weight! I was worried about swelling and sagging cheeks. I was afraid recovery would be slow because I’m in my 30s, but the major swelling was gone by the 1-month mark, and thanks to the hospital’s aftercare, even the remaining swelling is steadily going down. Especially because the cheekbones were fixed with double fixation, the sagging cheeks I was worried about are literally nonexistent. I can feel the sensation in my chin gradually returning, and everyday life and eating are no problem now. I can eat everything except hard and chewy foods. I decided on it after checking the nerve line clearly with 3D CT and because Director Jo’s consultation was detailed and straightforward, right? The result came out exactly as the soft image I wanted, so I’m really happy. It feels like a waste now to think I once worried that contour surgery in my 30s would be too much. As expected, I’m really glad I had the courage to trust the director’s many years of experience and go for it!
