Eye Surgery Reviews

Lower eyelid fat repositioning finally done!!! Same-day surgery review ~ after one full day

(I also posted this review from my own money on another cafe, so I copied the text here for reference!) Who said that? I figured I would swell a lot because I’m the type who swells easily. haha But I was still looking like the worst version of myself in my life.... T_T My surgery was scheduled for 6 p.m. on Friday, but thanks to the quick hands of the nurse, it was moved up, so I went into the operating room around 4:15 p.m. and woke up in the recovery room about an hour later. At the waiting recovery area in front of the operating room, [Doctor A] did a very quick design sketch and said, "I’ll flatten it as much as possible," then left... yes... you must have had a hard time.... I only managed to blurt out a few words, but you looked so busy that I figured it was a Friday night. When I went into the operating room, three beautiful nurses took care of everything. They attached the ECG leads, checked my fingernail and toenail polish, connected the IV for sedation, and I said thank you for working hard before I passed out. Photos before surgery are allowed, checked on the day, and destroyed on the same day. So I agreed to that, and after I woke from anesthesia, I was half-dazed. The older sister who came with me was fully awake and watched the surgery on a camcorder haha. Seeing my face on the screen behind them was even more annoying..... haha Anyway... that was the end of the surgery!!! I believe they did a good job!!!!! You can look at the photos in order..!! The face sketched in the waiting room before surgery I have a fairly deep hollow under my eyes, and if you look at my consultation review, out of the 6 places I visited, 2 recommended fat grafting as well. But since they said the hollow could also improve with lower eyelid fat repositioning, I chose only that! It was my personal choice, so please 참고. It definitely felt like the right side was deeper when I looked in the mirror as usual... so I thought they focused more on the right side.. maybe that’s why it swelled more.. haha Photo taken right after surgery _ I could already feel the swelling coming up .. T_T Maybe because I have some asymmetry, the right side especially swelled a lot, as expected. There is conjunctival edema, and no bruising is visible. Waking up and dozing off again and again in the early morning, I kept doing cold compresses. Why are the crusts and eyebrows stuck together so tightly that it’s hard to open my eyes? Oh dear. The next dawn? Or should I say today? This morning around 7.... I got up and walked as soon as I opened my eyes. The last photo is the current status so far. For now, I have conjunctival edema but no bleeding. No bruising is visible. The swelling extends from the side of the eye to the front of the cheekbone. No other pain. It’s super uncomfortable because the crusts and eyebrows stick together so well!!! As expected, this is an easy surgery for doctors, but for the person who undergoes it, it feels like one of the harder surgeries!!! haha It’s still too ugly for a real review, but if anyone is curious, please keep in mind that there are people like me who swell this much. Ah, they told me to remove the tape under my eyes on day 10, and I’m going back for a follow-up on August 1..!! I’ve been drinking pumpkin-and-red-bean tea, and I ordered pumpkin juice too... I’m walking hard. Aside from the swelling, there’s no other pain, so I’m doing cold compresses diligently. And walking!!^^ I’ll bring the next review, part 2, soon ^^
