Leaving a 6-month review of my non-incisional double eyelid surgery... I had been using eyelid tape and glue for a long time, but it got too inconvenient, so I decided to get surgery and visited a lot of clinics. I wanted a natural-looking eye, so I had the surgery at this clinic haha.
I had double eyelid surgery plus medial canthoplasty in early to mid-January. One thing I liked was that I was worried about my eyes looking too close together, because I was scared of medial canthoplasty, but the doctor said upfront that they should not overdo it and that they would open it only a little so it would match the distance between my eyes and nose, which made me feel more at ease! The swelling was almost gone after 2 to 3 weeks, and the bruising lasted a bit long, which worried me, but after 4 weeks it was all gone and I even went on an overseas trip! Anyway, it turned out so well that I’m really happy! Even when I close my eyes, it doesn’t show much, and in real life it looks a bit more natural than in photos, which I like haha.
