Eye Surgery Reviews

I’m glad both eyes became the same size after double eyelid surgery..

Concern: My eyes were originally quite uneven, and every time I took a photo, my left and right impressions looked different, which was so stressful. Even when I put on makeup, one side would look darker and the other side lighter, so I was never satisfied. Because of that, I gradually stopped wearing as much makeup and often went out wearing glasses to hide them. T_T lol I found out about the clinic through a recommendation from an acquaintance, and I went after booking a consultation. When I arrived, they first took photos and checked my eye condition in detail. Seeing the actual photos, my uneven eyes looked even more severe than I had thought, so I was a little surprised lol The director looked at each eye separately and also checked things like how strongly I opened my eyes and whether there was any sagging skin. I was told I had a slight ptosis and that the strength of opening each eye was a little different. So they explained that it would be better to do incisional double eyelid surgery together with ptosis correction, and that we should make the balance as even as possible by doing only a very small amount of front canthoplasty on the left eye. They also said that removing a little eyelid fat would help with shaping the line, so that was included as well. The consultation itself did not feel pushy, like I absolutely had to do it. It was easier to understand because they explained one thing at a time and told me why this approach was appropriate. I asked all sorts of questions and they answered them well, and that was what caught my attention a little.. Everyone will probably be curious about after surgery, and of course after an incision there was swelling and a pulling sensation. Especially during the first week, my eyes felt a bit heavy and awkward, but after the stitches were removed, the feeling of tightness clearly lessened. Opening my eyes also felt much easier than before. Then after about 2 weeks, the major bruising had almost disappeared, leaving only a bit of yellow bruising. Minor swelling tends to last quite a long time, so at first the line looked a little too strong and I worried for no reason, but as time passed it gradually softened. Incisional surgery really seems to need time to settle T_T Now, it is no longer bothersome enough for me to worry about the difference between the two sides like before, so I feel at ease.. Of course, no one’s eyes can be exactly identical, but compared with how my eyes used to be, the balance has improved a lot, so I’m satisfied. Rather than looking completely different, my impression just lost that sleepy look and became clearer, so people around me have also said it turned out naturally, which is a relief T_T If there is one disappointing point, it is that recovery takes longer than I expected because it was incisional. At first, because of the swelling, there were moments when I worried it had gone wrong, but once that period passed, it gradually settled into place. For people who worry about uneven eyes like I did, I recommend getting a consultation and hearing whether the method is suitable for your own eyes instead of deciding right away based only on reviews. In the end, I’m satisfied with the result.
