Three-month review of incisional ptosis correction at The Day Plastic Surgery

I often heard that my eyes looked sleepy, and every time I took photos my eyes looked so heavy that I was always bothered by it. So I tried getting by with eyelid tape or glue, but it was inconvenient every time and the line was never consistent, so I eventually started considering surgery.

I wanted a natural line, so I wanted to improve it without overdoing it. I looked into different hospitals and got consultations, and what I liked about Director Yoo Gyeong-han at The Day Plastic Surgery was that he carefully tried out different line designs and explained in detail the surgical method for each line and how each one would improve after surgery. He also did not push me forcefully and reflected my opinions well, which was the main reason I decided to have surgery there.

I had ptosis correction done with the incisional method. Right after surgery, for an incisional procedure, the swelling and bruising were not as severe as I expected. At the one-week mark there was still some swelling, but when I looked in the mirror the eyes did not feel heavy, and the line did not look artificial either, which I actually liked.

As time passed, the swelling went down, and by the one-month mark my eyes looked much clearer, so my overall impression felt more refined and I had no major inconvenience in daily life or makeup. However, at that point the line still looked asymmetrical, but the hospital explained that I had not fully recovered yet and that it could be due to the healing process, so I thought it would get better if I kept focusing on recovery.

By the three-month mark, the line had settled in naturally, almost like an eyelid crease I had always had, and the asymmetry that had worried me had recovered into better balance, so my satisfaction is very high.
