I had double eyelid surgery with natural adhesion and a single knot, and about 1 year and 6 months later I underwent removal. I had a lot of worries before deciding on removal, and there were three main things I was most concerned about. (1) Whether the fixation thread was an absorbable thread At the time of surgery, the stitches were absorbable, so I worried that the fixation thread might also be absorbable. I had seen many stories saying that if the fixation thread is absorbable, you can miss the golden time for removal as time passes and it may become difficult to take out. (2) Whether I could really return to my original eyes even after 1 year and 6 months Since removal was being done after a lot of time had already passed, I was worried whether eyelid sagging or double folds would appear and whether I could go back to my old eyes. (3) Whether the thread could be found and removed properly My biggest concern was what if the thread had broken in the middle and remained inside, or what if they could not find the thread at all. So I went to several places for removal consultations, and in the end I had the removal done at AM. The part that gave me the most confidence during the consultation was that they did not just show successful cases. They showed a variety of removal cases, and I could also see cases from people about 10 years out. Also, not only for simple removal, but even in cases where revision surgery was done, they said they would remove the existing thread. What I liked most was that they did not say everything would definitely go well, but honestly explained the difficult parts that could come up during removal and the possibility of side effects without hiding anything. In fact, that made me trust them more. For reference, both single-knot and multi-knot cases could be removed, and at the time of my consultation the price was in the high 900,000 won range for single-knot and the low 1,000,000 won range for multi-knot. In the pre-op consultation, the director looked at my eyes and said it was likely transparent thread, and when they actually removed it and checked, it really was transparent thread. After the removal, they showed me the thread taken out of my eyes and said I could take a photo of it, and it was so thin and transparent that it was hard to find with the naked eye, to the point where I thought, “How did they even find this?” The part I was most worried about was not being able to find the thread, but after seeing the actual result, I felt completely relieved. In the end, none of the things I was worried about happened, such as eyelid sagging, double folds, or thread breakage, and the removal ended very satisfactorily. As soon as it was released, my eyes went back down right along my original eyelid line. I am not fully recovered yet, but the first thing I thought after the removal was, “This really is my eye. My original eyes were this comfortable.” After double eyelid surgery, there were moments when it was hard to open my eyes comfortably because of strong sunlight, bright lights, or a bright monitor, and those discomforts improved a lot after removal. Honestly, I was so stressed before removal that I even dreamed about having my double eyelid removed in my sleep. It was something I had worried about for so long, but once I actually had it taken out, I have been satisfied to the point that I wonder why I worried so much. Now it is much easier to open my eyes, and it feels like I simply returned to my original eyes, so I am very happy. I am really living very satisfied after the removal. I also got a lot of help from reading reviews on this app before my own removal, so I am leaving this review in the hope that it helps someone who, like me, has been worrying about it for a long time!

I don’t have a double eyelid, and the inner corner of my eyes is a little blocked, so my eyes always looked tired and small, which bothered me... I thought if I got double eyelid surgery, my eyes would at least look a little less tired, so
