My goals were correcting the bulbous tip and refining the hump, and because my skin is on the thicker side, he said support for the nasal tip was important. At first I wondered if I really needed to go all the way from my first nose surgery to autologous costal cartilage, but during the consultation he explained why autologous costal cartilage would suit my nose better, so I ended up deciding on that It's only been 2 weeks so I still need to keep watching, but the nasal tip is rising more stably than I expected, and overall I am satisfied. Of course, the harvest site for the autologous costal cartilage still hurts a little It is not unbearable, but when I laugh, cough, or stand up, I do feel a slight pulling sensation I am thinking of it as part of the recovery process since it is getting better little by little Still, compared with before surgery, the line has really changed a lot The hump is much cleaner now, and the bulbous nose feels slimmer than I expected, so so far I am quite satisfied!
