Lower Blepharoplasty Day 1 to 7 Review

A hospital I learned about through a friend's recommendation; it runs with a single lead surgeon and has been practicing in one place for a long time, so I trusted it and went ahead with the surgery there without consulting any other hospitals.Day 1 of surgeryAs anesthesia started, I was just lying there like I was really asleep, and when I opened my eyes, the surgery was already over. Everyone is different, but I had almost no pain, so it was much more comfortable than I expected.Day 2I visited the hospital to change the tape and check the bruising. There was a little bruising under my eyes, and I had a pulling sensation and quite a bit of eye discharge.Day 3The eye discharge started to be less than the day before, and the pulling sensation was still there, but it was not uncomfortable to a major extent.Day 4The bruising under my eyes was visibly fading little by little. I felt like recovery was going well.Day 5 to 7After removing the tape, a very slight yellow bruise remained. As time passed, the bruising gradually faded, and the swelling was slowly going down too, so it felt like the process of becoming more natural. I still need to wait until all the swelling goes down to know the final result, but up to now I’m really satisfied. The surgery itself was comfortable, and recovery has gone better than I expected, so I felt glad I did it.
